How to bake Best Honey muffins ever!!! Easy recipe
This classic honey muffin recipe will make perfectly soft and rich of flavour muffins every time, so you can be sure they will be a success every time.
You will need:
- 4 eggs
- 150g of caster sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 180g of plain flour
- 1 1/3 tsp baking powder
- 180g of butter
- 20g of clear runny honey
Cost-saving alternative to disposable paper cups; works with any standard muffin pan
How to do it:
Using a spatula, mix the eggs, sugars and salt in a bowl until combined
Sift the flour and baking powder into the bowl and fold into the mixture, being careful not to overwork
Melt the butter and honey together in a pan over a low heat. While stirring, pour the mix into the bowl, making sure it is well incorporated. Leave to rest for 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 170°C
Once rested, Spoon the mixture into the prepared cases. Bake for approximately 20-25 mins or until golden and springy to the touch. Cool for 10 mins; transfer to a wire rack and leave to cool completely.
