Pasta a la carbonara, authentic Italian recipe

Spaghetti carbonara is probably the most international way to prepare pasta. I will make some authentic spaghetti carbonara and Authentic Italian carbonara sauce.

You will need:

  • 400g cooked spaghetti
  • 175g smoked bacon
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 onion
  • handful flatleaf parsley leaves, finely chopped
  • 250ml of fresh cream
  • 1 large free-range egg
  • 50g parmezan cheese
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper, nutmeg to taste

How to do it:

First we prepare onion garlic and parsley , chopped to the size desired by each one.

After that we take a bowl and add fresh cream, egg, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix everything together very well.

We put a little oil in a pan and begin to saute the onion.

We add the bacon cut thin and garlic after.

Cook for a few minutes, add parsley.
