Chicken croquettes, chickens stick recipe-At Dinning
You can serve it with the dishes of your choice since it goes with infinities of them, but you can also serve it as tapas. You can make them from the meat that you have after making chicken stock.
Its texture is very crispy on the outside and creamy inside, even if preparation takes a while, it’s really worth making them, especially with this very simple recipe, for sure you will do great.
You will need:
- 75 gr. Of flour
- 400 ml whole milk
- 2 butter spoons
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 250 gr. chicken (shredded and chopped chicken previously cooked, fried or roasted)
- 100 gr. of breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs.
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 onion
How to do it:
Place a pan on the heat and melt the butter, add chopped onion and sauté until it is transparent. Add the shredded chicken and fry for a couple of minutes, add the ½ cup of flour stirring constantly until disappearing.
When it is well mixed we add one cup of milk, the parsley and the teaspoon of salt. Mix it all so that all the ingredients are integrated, add the rest of milk while stirring until the mixture detaches from the bottom of the pot.
Remove from heat and place in a bowl, let cool to room temperature and then place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
After this time, we place the eggs and beat them in a bowl or plate, in another plate we put flour and in a third bowl the breadcrumbs.
With floured hands we shape the croquettes and then pass them one by one first through the flour, then through the beaten eggs and finally through the breadcrumbs.
When you are done heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the croquettes until they are golden brown.
