When I think “home-made pasta”, the first associations that come to my mind are related to my mother, who every Sunday served broth for lunch, in which homemade pasta could not be missing.

If you are afraid that making homemade pasta is difficult and requires a lot of time and effort, then I immediately say that you are wrong. In fact, the preparation of pasta is very simple.

You will need:

  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt and oil
  • water

How to do it:

Sift the flour into a bowl or a board, make a hollow in the center, insert eggs, and then pour a little water. I start any dough that needs to be kneaded by mixing with a fork, when the main ingredients are wet, sticky and stick to my hand. I knead the dough to a smooth mass. The dough should be firm, smooth and flexible.

The next step is to roll out the dough into several thin pies and leave them for several minutes to dry. You will need this to roll the pasta.

Then the slices of dough should be cut into wide rectangles, rolled up like a roulade and chopped with a knife. Noodles after cutting are stuck together and need to be separated from each other. Do not forget to add flour to the dough, because it likes to stick to everything.
